Custom drainage solutions designed to manage excess water and prevent pooling. We help keep your landscape dry, healthy, and protected from long-term damage.

We Offer Many Drainage Solutions for Your Landscape

Proper landscape drainage is essential to protect your property from water damage, erosion, and unwanted standing water. Whether you’re dealing with minor puddles or persistent flooding, there are several drainage solutions you can implement to keep your yard healthy and functional.

We Can Help You Assess Your Landscape Drainage Needs

Before choosing a drainage solution for your landscape we will identify areas where water collects, slopes toward your home, or causes erosion. We take into consideration soil type, yard slope, and proximity to structures. A thorough assessment will help us select the most effective drainage method tailored to your needs.

Surface Drainage Solutions We Offer

Light Grading

Adjusting the slope of your yard so water flows away from buildings is a fundamental step. Ideally, the ground should slope at least 2% away from your home’s foundation.

Swales

These shallow, gently sloped channels direct water toward a safe drainage area. Swales can be lined with grass or decorative stones for added appeal.

Dry Creek Beds

Decorative stone installed in a prepped and graded area on top of the ground to direct water runoff to a desired area.

French Drains

A French drain consists of a perforated pipe surrounded by gravel, buried underground to collect and redirect water away from problem areas.

Rain Gardens

Planted depressions filled with native plants, rain gardens capture and filter runoff, allowing it to slowly soak into the ground.

Subsurface Drainage Solutions

Dry Wells

These underground structures collect runoff and allow it to percolate slowly into the surrounding soil, reducing surface water accumulation.

Catch Basins

Installed at low points in your yard, catch basins collect surface water and connect to underground pipes that redirect water away from your property.

Gutter and Downspout Management

We can help direct water from gutters and downspouts away from the home by piping the water to a desired area.

Permeable Pavers

We can replace impervious surfaces like concrete with permeable pavers or gravel to allow rainwater to soak into the ground, reducing runoff and promoting groundwater recharge.
Proper drainage solutions protect your landscape investment, prevent costly water damage, and promote a healthier environment. We can help you choose the strategies that best suit your landscape.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My husband and I started using Lawn Impressions about one year ago! We moved into a relatively new property and the quality of the grass seed was not optimal. Lawn impressions takes care of our fescue as well as Bermuda. Our yard looks amazing and when we have friends and family come over, they often comment on how great the grass looks. We have been very impressed with the high quality service they provide! They are always so quick to respond to any questions that I have and truly care about the work and service they provide! This is a wonderful company and I highly recommend!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. At the beginning of the pandemic, I relocated to Concord from out of state. After several unsatisfactory experiences with temp services (e.g., Angie's list bookings) I found Lawn Impressions and started using their weekly lawn care plan. A year or so later, I contacted the owner, Elise, about doing some hardscaping in the backyard. What a great decision! She and Josh took my ideas and created a design that has exceeded my expectations as far as form and functionality. They started work on schedule and didn't stop until the projects were complete. The following spring they relandscaped my front beds (builder installed). They have a great team of employees all of whom I've come to know by name. Recently I upgraded to their "premium" lawn care service, a bundle that includes lawn care and maintenance as well as weeding all areas. Highly recommended.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I replaced a "national brand" lawn service with Lawn Impressions and I could not be happier. They have turned a mediocre yard into a truly beautiful lawn. Thank you!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Josh and his crew did an outstanding job with my landscaping needs!! I had a moderately sized mulch job that he took care of for me, and being under a time crunch, he was able to help us out, even though his schedule was pretty tight. Kudos to the high quality work!! I will definitely use this company for future landscape needs!! Outstanding work!!
